A letter from The Diff Founder Trisha Kroll…
Dear Alumni, Friends and Family of The Diff,
It is with mixed emotions that I wanted to share some news with you about The Diff Volleyball Club.
When my husband and I started The Diff Volleyball club in 2012, we had 3 children and one team and now 10 years later we have 5 children including 2 girls with special needs and 4 teams. As the needs of our family and The Diff have grown, I have tried to take steps back from my responsibilities with the volleyball club but have found that it was not fair to ask someone else to carry out the convictions Alan and I have.
This past year the needs of my family have made it apparent that I needed to find someone who loved The Diff as much as I did and could rebrand it and make it their own.
After much prayer and seeking wisdom from our board of directors we have asked one of our devoted coaches, Josh Kreunen, to rebrand the club, making it his own, and carrying on its legacy. Josh and the terrific staff at Arete (air-uh-tay) Volleyball Club will do an awesome job!
I am super excited about the passion and vision Josh has for the club and I believe that he will be able to pour into it the time and energy needed to make it even better than it is.
The other branches of our nonprofit The Difference Maker (The Mind of a Champion Program, Water’s Edge Ministry, etc…) will remain the same but I will greatly miss being a part of such an amazing group of people at The Diff Volleyball Club although I am super excited that the Arete Volleyball will continue to train at The Diff!
I wanted to thank you for ALL you have done to make The Diff such a transformational, difference making club that has positively impacted so many athletes’ lives. My hope is that you will encourage and support Josh and his staff as they take the baton and continue to be a light in the volleyball community!
